Modelling the Skeletoid

Now it's time to start modelling the Skeletoid, the second creature I have decided to model from X-com apocalypse.

First off though, here is the reference I am using to model from..

And here is what I have modelled so far..

Not much but It'll get there. I started out on this like I did the Anthropod, and that is to model first the body, then the leg then arm. then its the sticky-out bits like hands, feet and head. But lets not get too far into it already.

Here I got a cylinder of 8 sides and about 6 subdivisions going down it for the body and cut it in half. then did the same for the leg but didn't cut it in half. Instead I duplicated it and joined them together to start off the look of the boney skeleton legs.
